Thanks to the advancements made in infrastructure-as-a-service technology pioneered by Amazon, the public cloud infrastructure used by Fenero Contact Center can automatically scale from hundreds of users to thousands almost instantly. The success of this model also applies to customers of private clouds running Fenero Contact Center.
Private cloud customers can start with a single Web application server, one SIP server, and a lower-end MySQL database server with built-in failover to handle up to 10-25 agents. Using built-in auto scaling, they can set system thresholds to automatically grow their private cloud infrastructure as their business grows.
Our elastic public cloud infrastructure is shown below. Amazon ElastiCache is used to reduce the number of connections to the database for common data while Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is used to store call recordings indefinitely.
